SUMMARY:5th Dutch Antisense Therapeutics Symposium (DATS)
DESCRIPTION:The Dutch Antisense Therapeutics Symposium is a local event designed to build a community where multidisciplinarity and collaboration are central to advancing (antisense) oligonucleotide therapeutics. Bringing together related research and researchers in this field enables the formation of a dynamic and solid community.\nFor the fifth DATS, we have invited two keynote speakers: Dr. Jonathan Watts, Professor at the RNA Therapeutics Institute of UMass Medical School and Dr. Willeke van Roon-Mom, Professor of Human Genetics at the LUMC and co-director of the Dutch Center for RNA Therapeutics. In addition, we will invite national speakers with different backgrounds (academia, clinicians, industry, regulatory bodies, and patient organizations), who will provide an overview on topics such as the history of antisense oligonucleotides, novel delivery methods and pre-clinical research, regulations, ongoing clinical trials, and patient perspective.\nAnother important aspect of this meeting is to engage and give visibility to young investigators by providing slots for short talks and poster presentations and we will give awards for best talks and best posters. Moreover, we have created ample time in the program for get-togethers and networking. You can find more information about the upcoming DATS and the previous symposia on www.dutchantisense.org. The 5th DATS is an OTS Local Delivery supported event. \n
