Sonja Merkas is the founder of Livinovea, a service-providing and consultancy supporting life science organizations with an approach across technical, operational, and business aspects. With over 25 years of experience in pharma, academia, and consulting, she has worked in development and manufacturing of small molecules, peptides, and oligonucleotides. Her oligonucleotide journey started in 2003 during her PhD and postdoctoral research and continued through Novartis and consulting. A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Sonja integrates scientific expertise with operational excellence and a strategic, visionary mindset.
